I hold a Master’s degree in Foreign Languages from Palacký University. My academic journey included a year at the University of Porto, where I specialized in Portuguese and Lusophone Studies, and a further year at the University of Lisbon focusing on Portuguese Language and Educational Linguistics. I completed my studies in 2022 with a distinction and awarded research in the academic competition Premio Iberoamericano. These experiences have shaped my deep understanding of both Portuguese and language education.
My passion for my today's profession drives me to continuously expand my expertise. Alongside holding five diverse language certifications, I have earned a TEFL certification and a specialized certification in Teaching Business English. I have attended diverse seminars and workshops to stay at the forefront of language teaching trends and methods, ensuring my approach is both innovative and effective.
Besides my language lecturing that initiated 2020, I bring a rich tapestry of international experience. I have lived, worked and studied in Belgium, Czechia, the USA, Portugal, and Brazil. Some highlights include a diplomacy internship at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Lisbon, language lecturing and translating for renown companies and working with high-profile individuals. Additionally, I have volunteered lecturing children with NGO's in South America.
I love exploring all corners of the world and being active keeps me pursuing many goals. May it be getting a yoga teacher certification in India, running a half-marathon, exploring world cuisines or coding and building websites. This spirit of curiosity and adventure extends into my teaching, where I bring the same enthusiasm to our lessons - and so do my students. This dynamics does not only enrich each other's lives but also make learning Portuguese an enjoyable journey.
